The Wisconsin Woodsmen are back in action this weekend with a home-and-home NA3HL series against the Fox Cities Forge. The two teams will square off at 7:15 p.m. at the Tomah Ice Center on Friday, before heading to the Appleton Family Ice Center in Appleton, Wis., for the 7:30 p.m. rematch the following evening.

WOODSMEN SCOUTING REPORT:
- FOR THE RECORD: The Woodsmen head into their first-ever meeting against the Fox Cities Forge sporting a 4-3-1-0 record, leaving them sitting third in the NA3HL Central Division standings with nine points. … Wisconsin finished with 19-24-2-2 record in 2025-26, good for 42 points and a fifth-place showing in the NA3HL Central Division standings.
- LAST TIME OUT: The Woodsmen came up empty in its two NA3HL games last weekend, falling to the Rochester Grizzlies 3-2 on the road last Friday, before dropping an 8-2 decision to the Wausau Cyclones the following evening at the Tomah Ice Center.
- HOME SWEET HOME: The Woodsmen played four of their six games in September on the road, but are in the midst of playing five of their eight October games on their home sheet, where they are 2-2-0-0 — the two victories coming on back-to-back wins over the St. Louis Jr. Blues on Sept. 18-19. … Wisconsin collected 10 of its 19 wins last season on its home ice, going 10-11-0-2 at the Tomah Ice Center, while owning a 9-13-2-0 mark on the road.
- RIDING THE ROLLERCOASTER: Wisconsin scored the game’s first five goals in its season-opener against the Peoria Mustangs on Sept. 11, only to give up six unanswered tallies — including the game-winner with 1:11 remaining in overtime — in falling 6-5. … Wisconsin surrendered six unanswered goals to start the game in last Saturday’s 8-2 loss to the Wausau Cyclones.
- WHITE-KNUCKLE RIDE: The Woodsmen’s 3-2 loss to the Rochester Grizzlies last Friday marked the 18th time since the start of the 2025-26 season that Wisconsin has been involved in a game decided by one goal. … Wisconsin has now played 37 games over the last three seasons that have been decided by one goal — including 22 that have gone into overtime and six decided in a shootout. … Wisconsin lost both of its shootouts last season, falling to the Minnesota Moose on Nov. 15 and to the St. Louis Jr. Blues on Feb. 7.
- TURNING UP THE HEAT: With their 7-3 win over the Peoria Mustangs on Sept. 12, the Woodsmen have now scored six or more goals in a game 12 times since the start of last season, and have netted 6+ goals in a game 22 times over the last three seasons.
- SPREADING THE WEALTH: Wisconsin’s combined 12 goals against the Peoria Mustangs on Sept. 11-12 came from nine different players — including all five goals in the Woodsmen’s 6-5 OT loss last Friday.
- LIGHTING THE LAMP: Parker Holloway scored one of the Woodsmen’s four goals last weekend, pushing his team-leading total to six. Jackson Haupt sits second in the goal-scoring race with four, followed by Ozbej Muzan with three, and Cameron Hovden, Andrei Khomenko, and Ty Paulios, with two each. Bryce Bechen, Jayden Hervey, Dayne Wafle, Myles Bible, Damien Calzada, Jack Dahl, and Nicholas Nugent have also found the back of the net this season. … Paulios led the team with 21 goals last season, five more than Holloway.
- LENDING A HELPING HAND: Khomenko and Holloway have each amassed a team-best seven assists through eight games, one more than Hovden and Paulios. Bechen and Paxton Raymond own three assists apiece, while Haupt and Muzan have chipped in a pair of helpers.
- POINT PRODUCERS: With his six goals and seven assists, Holloway owns the team lead in points with 13, four up on Khomenko (2 G, 7 A). Hovden (2 G, 6A) and Paulios (2 G, 6 A) are third with eight points each, followed by Haupt (4 G, 2 A) with six, and Muzan (3 G, 2 A) with five. … Wisconsin boasted four players who accumulated 30 or more points last season, led by Paulios with 46 (21 G, 25 A).
- BETWEEN THE PIPES: The Woodsmen have used three different goalies through their first eight games, with Dominic Seligman, Nicholas Roy, and Nicklas Timm all seeing time between the pipes. … Timm — who posted shutouts in each of his first two starts as a Woodsmen, leads the trip with a 0.97 goals-against-average and .957 save percentage in three appearances (184:00). Seligman has appeared in three games (141:00, compiling a 2.97 GAA and .851 save %, while Foy (3 GP, 161:00, 5.96 GAA, .857 save %) has also appeared in three games. … Foy leads the team with 96 saves, followed by Timm with 66 and Seligman with 40.
- RECORD-SETTER: Foy was a part of a pair of franchise records in his first start as a Woodsmen on Sept. 11 against the Peoria Mustangs. The 68 shots he faced were the most in franchise history, while his 62 saves were also the most in Woodsmen history.
- DEBUT TO REMEMBER: Timm made the most of his first start between the pipes for the Woodsmen, stopping all 11 shots he faced in recording the shutout in Wisconsin’s 2-0 win over the St. Louis Jr. Blues on Sept. 18. And then followed that up with shutout No. 2 against the Jr. Blues with a 28-save shutout effort eight days later.
FORGE SCOUTING REPORT
- FOR THE RECORD: The Forge head into their two-game series against the Wisconsin Woodsmen still searching for the first win in franchise history, having dropped two games against the Wausau Cyclones and two vs. the West Bend Power in their first four contests.
- LAST TIME OUT: League-leading West Bend Power had a field day against the Forge last weekend, cruising to 11-1 and 8-3 victories.
- ROAD TRIPPIN’: The Forge are in the midst of playing four of its next five games on the road, the lone home game in that stretch, Saturday’s contest against the Wisconsin Woodsmen.
- LIGHTING THE LAMP: Jonah Dickens has accounted for four of the team’s nine goals this season. Tyson Bradford has scored twice, while Wesley Loxley, Maxim Bachmann, and Cole MacDonald have all lit the lamp once.
- LENDING A HELPING HAND: Egor Kondratev is the only Forge player with more than one assist, heading into the weekend with a pair of helpers. Dickens, Bradford, Loxley, Braden Albert, Jack Clunn, Gavin Douglas, Corbin Kundinger, and Jace Lane have all notched one assist.
- POINT PRODUCERS: With his four goals and solo assist, Dickens enters the weekend with a team-leading five points. Bradford (2 G, 1 A) is second on the squad with three points, followed by Kondratev (0 G, 2 A) and Loxley (1 G, 1 A) with two points each.
- BETWEEN THE PIPES: Eli Graf and Braedyn Sullivan have shared the goaltending duties this season. Graf has compiled a 7.71 goals-against-average and .847 save percentage in three appearances (140:00), while Sullivan owns a 4.28 GAA and .914 save % in two games (98:00). … Graf has stopped 100 of the 118 shots he’s faced, with Sullivan chipping in 74 saves.
