FIRST-EVER MEETING AGAINST FORGE A ROUSING SUCCESS FOR WOODSMEN

Oct 10, 2026

TOMAH, Wis. — Friday’s NA3HL matchup was the first-ever between the Wisconsin Woodsmen
and the Fox Cities Forge.

And after 60 minutes of play, the Forge probably wished it was their first — and only
— meeting with the Woodsmen.

The Woodsmen peppered the Fox Cities goal for 57 shots — and scored five times — while
goalie Nicholas Foy picked up the team’s third shutout of the season, as the Woodsmen dealt
the Forge a 5-0 NA3HL setback at the Tomah Ice Center.

Wisconsin flexed its muscles early and often, as Jackson Haupt scored his fifth and sixth goals of
the season — the first just 1:01 into the opening period and the second with 9:08 to play in the
frame, as the Woodsmen took a 2-0 advantage into the first-period intermission.

After a scoreless second period, in which Wisconsin held a commanding 21-8 advantage in
shots on goal, the Woodsmen turned up the offensive heat over the game’s final 20 minutes.
And the Woodsmen’s offensive dominance continued in the third period, as Wisconsin held Fox
Cities to a single shot on goal — while peppering the Forge net with 16 third-period shots.

Myles Bible netted his second of the year less than five minutes into the final frame, and
Cameron Hovden and Parker Holloway also found the back of the net to close out the scoring.
Foy stopped all 17 shots he faced in recording his first shutout in a Woodsmen uniform, while
teammate Bryce Bechen was in a giving mood, dishing out three assists.

Wisconsin (5-3-1-0 overall) goes for the sweep when the two teams meeting again on Saturday,
heading to the Appleton Family Ice Center for the teams’ 7:30 p.m. rematch.
